Base & Brickwork Specification
• All building work will be carried out to comply with all building regulation, foundations to the same depth of your property.
• Footings dug out, concrete infill and cavity wall built to ground level, finished with engineering bricks as DPC.
• The base would consist of 150mm thick compacted hardcore, sand bunding, 50mm of insulation and a damp proof membrane.
• The floor will be completed with a smooth finished 100mm concrete floor slab.
The cavity wall that would be run down to the foundation is 260mm in width with cavity wall insulation between the brickwork.
• Please note, minimum foundations depth is 525mm up to 1000mm depending on ground conditions, standard minimum width of foundations is 450mm.
• The height of the dwarf wall is set at 800mm, this is to allow for your requirement for a full opening window which can only be manufactured to a maximum height of 1300mm.
• 250mm Duraboard to cap all cavity’s, in mahogany finish. • Plaster finish to internal brickwork including dwarf wall and back wall.
• First fixing for 3 electrical sockets at this stage, second fixing after plaster work is completed.
• The whole base to fully incorporate under floor thermostatically heating. ( please find enclosed brochure)
• A border one metre wide running around the conservatory brick wall finished in decorative P pebble, the option of a blocked paved finish if required. (extra cost).
